Today marks Ukrainian Independence Day, and SANSARA has teamed up with Natalia Tsupryk to create a new piece in aid of the Ukrainian Welcome Centre here in London. The proceeds from sales of the score will benefit displaced Ukrainian persons directly, and a special fundraiser has been set up to donate to their cause.
Along with the audio recording, Ben Tomlin Productions has been hard at work producing the official music video, which went online this morning. We are honoured to be even a small part of such a crucial battle for the people, land and culture of Ukraine, and it is our hope that the video will be spread far and wide to bring renewed attention to the ongoing crisis and much-needed funds to those giving aid.
A Quiet Night – Tyhohi Nochi is a creative response to the full scale invasion of Ukraine by Russian forces in early 2022 and the ongoing conflict across the country which has displaced millions of Ukrainian civilians.
